ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR HIGHER SECONDARY CLASS XI


Applications for admission on prescribed forms, will be accepted immediately after the announcement of the Class-XI Examination results of the Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education. Each application must be accompanied by :

(a) an attested copy of the mark sheet of the last examination passed.

(b) a recent passport size photograph of the student.

When the student is admitted then the admission form must be accompanied by :

1.   A testimonial of character from the Principal of the school last attended.

2.   An attested copy of the mark-sheet of the last examination passed.

3.   Two copies of recent passport size photograph of the student.

4.   The Original Transfer Certificate from the school last attended.

5.   An attested copy of the Admit Card.

6.   Provisional Certificate

The Original Migration Certificate for those students coming from Boards other than Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education is to be handed over to the office not later than one month from the date of admission.

The original mark sheet is NOT to be handed in the office under any circumstance.

The school reserves the right to refuse an application for admission without assigning any reasons for the same.

When admission is granted the prescribed fees must be paid and the admission form duly filled-up must be deposited at the school office within 24 hours, otherwise the admission will stand cancelled. Application forms not having all the required documents will not be considered.

Filled-in-application form once submitted will not be returned.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Registration

On admission students are to collect registration form from the school office for registration of their name in MBOSE.

Attendance

Every students shall be required to attend at least 90% of classes, failing which students shall be allowed to sit in the Promotion Examination.
