Nongthymmai Nepali Higher Secondary School
Nongthymmai Nepali Higher Secondary School was established on 12th August 1957 by the Nepali speaking Indian citizen of Nongthymmai, Laitumkhrah, Rynjah and nearby areas with the active co-operation of the local people to impart Primary Education. The school was recognized by Board of Elementary Education, the then Government of Assam in 1966 and M.E. Section in the year 1970 and High School in 1978 and affiliated to the Meghalaya Board of School Education in 1990 and upgraded to Higher Secondary in the year 2003.
Aim : It is a linguistic minority institute primarily designed to cater to all section of the society to produce good, enlightened and honest citizen of India.
